Hi! Does anyone know the difference between the TaylorMade Tour Burner and the Tour Burner TP? I've been looking to get one but don't know the difference between them.

I think the TP has a more square to open face profile and may be 10cc smaller. I liked the TP more than the regular Tour Burner when I demo'd both.

The TP has an open face, better shaft, and it cost's more. I think, but am not sure about this, but I think the TP also generates less spin.

Here's what I play:

Titleist 907 D2 10.5* UST ProForce V2 76-S | Titleist 906F4 18.5* Aldila VS Proto "By You" 80-S | Titleist 585H 21* Aldila VS Proto "By You" 80-S | Titleist ZB 4-PW TTDG S300 | Bob Vokey Spin Milled Oil Can 54.10 | Bob Vokey Spin Milled Oil Can 60.08 | Scotty Cameron Red X5 33" |

What was the difference between both drivers ball flight for you?

I have not hit the TP, but as you probably know I have the regular one. The one I have launches a bit high (getting new shaft soon) and it spins a little too much, but I am fixing that. But despite that it still can hit it about 240-250 on average.

    • Day 29 (9 Dec 25) - PW dink and rolls as well as low flighted chips.  Dink and rolls - set up with club head toe down/heel up to promote low flight, plenty of roll out.  Low flighted pitches - club flat on the ground to get ball up a Rick more and check more.   No more than 10yds total distance - focus on getting the ball to finish near (within 10’ dia circle) the target “pin”…
