There are two ways to do this, the most simple is to aim the club face at your target and to aim your body where you want the ball to start.

One way I practise is at the start of my backswing some one calls out a shot and I try to manipulate the ball flight from the top of my swing (altering my down swing to shape the shot) I know this isn't the simplest way of shaping the ball, but for me shaping the ball this way holds up a lot better under pressure than aiming my body to shape the shot, particularly with a fade.

The only thing I consciously change when trying to draw or fade it is my takeaway. I bring it back slightly inside to hit a draw, slightly outside to hit a fade. Everything else seems to take care of itself. You should end up coming back across the ball causing spin one way or the other.

If I want to hit a big hook or slice, I do the same thing, but also strengthen or weaken my grip accordingly.
