play a ball other than a urethane covered ball(Prov 1's, HX Tour I, etc....), which ball would you play?

Any of you folks have any experience with a ball that checks up on the green nicely while keeping spin off the tee at a minimum?

Thank you in advance for your recommendations.

Wilson Staff Zip. My brother spun a 4-iron hybrid back today with one of those. How? I'm not sure, but it happened.

Totally agreed. Played them today, and on moderately soft greens, my ball only rolled a foot past my ball mark. Not bad at all. I mean with Prov1's its usually right next to it or in front of it, but the E6+ really gives ample spin which is plenty for me. Also, they are nice and soft and have a great putting alignment.

I like the e6s too but the e5 will spin better on short iron shots...

Precept Laddie-X. Honestly, I get plenty of spin with any of the rock-hard, inexpensive distance balls (Titleist DT Carry, Cougar Titanium Distance, Precept Laddie-X, Precept XP3).
My ball always stops within 5' of my ball mark, even when Im hitting my lower-spin 200-Series Vokeys, which is pretty decent for a 34 handicapper.

Whats in my :sunmountain: C-130 cart bag?

Anyone here ever use the Volvik crystal balls? Very soft feel. Maxfli Noodle Ice is pretty much the same thing... Interesting golf balls.
