I'm getting back into golf as some of you know, and I need some new irons.. I would say my natural ballflight is straight to a draw..sometimes I miss it and it goes right but on a good shot it goes straight or it draws.

The prices are excellent on the R7 DRAW irons, but would the draw bias technology cause me to hit the ball too left or lose the ball to the left more often on the course? I don't really need much if any help as far as draw inducing goes.

I've never hit them myself, but do have several friends that picked them up for the same reason (price). Personally, I'd never get draw clubs, even if my natural shot was a fade...I'd rather fix my swing. With a natural draw though I think I'd definitely stay away from them...don't want to start turning a draw into a hook.

In my Datrek Rage bag:
Driver: Sumo 5000 w/ Aldila VS Proto Stiff
4-Wood: SasQuatch 2 w/ Diamana Stiff
Irons: AP2 4-PW w/ PX 6.0
Wedges: Zodia US Spec 52*, Yururi Gekku 57*, 588 DSG RTG+Putter: Scotty Cameron Studio Style 3.5 or Odyssey White Hot Tour #1Ball: ProV1 or whatever I find!

I looked at the TM Draw driver when I was looking at new "big sticks" ... I hit the draw on the range at the shop because I thought it would help, but I found that I had to "open up" the club face to hit the ball straight (kinda defeated the pourpose of the "draw" club) I bought the regular TM Burner Driver and changed my grip slightly, and my swing slightly and now I can actually hit the ball straight ...
In my Bag:

Driver: Burner 10.5* Stiff shaft
3 WoodBurner 15* stiff shaft
5 WoodBurner 18* stiff ShaftHybrid3DX (18.5*)Irons: (4-LW):Putter: Rossa Indy SportBalls: Reds

I've been swinging the draw driver for a couple months now. I try to hit a draw all the time but with this driver, I've noticed I'd gain lots of yardage on the roll. It helps to increase the spin for me, enough to roll up to a good 20 yards past where it hits. I'm starting to push 300 yard drives just because of the extra roll. I've never had a problem hitting a hook with this driver either. Maybe because I hit the 9 degree, it goes into the ground before it gets up and hooks, whatever. Fades are a little tough to hit though. The fades are really subtle but I guess that's good since I only curve it right when I need the ball to stop instead of roll down the hill but it's tough to bend right. Truthfully, the irons will not screw you over. A big company like Taylormade wouldn't throw out a product to ruin your game. The whole point of the draw club is to help you rotate and release faster so that club turns over. Those clubs will make your side spin control a lot more subtle though. Less does more so make sure your hands are controlling the club and not the other way around.

I would not buy them, you will always be compensating for the draw and trying to play a fade shot, not worth the chance buy another set of clubs.
