So, i've got my first college tournament this Friday.

The St. Joseph's College Fall Classic at Pine Ridge Golf Club in Coram, NY.

Our team is brand new at Purchase College. Right now, we only have four guys but it's looking pretty good. We played 9 holes at Doral Arrowwood today, par 35 and shot 40, 40, 41 and 42. Not great but acceptable for D3 in the fall. Anyways, i'll let you guys know how i do. I'm looking forward to this!

There is nothing better than to be playing golf for a school and have them pick up the tab.

      This isn't going to show you lateral dispersion at all. It's basically just a radar (for speed) launch monitor. It doesn't measure spin or anything like that. Not even launch direction.

      PGA Tour Makes Sweeping Changes Starting in 2028

      Interesting changes. The idea of relegation and promotion have always been there in a different form (getting and losing your card etc and qualifying for bigger events) but it looks like they want to define it better for top tier events. The Tour has always had A and B level events (and even lower). It will be interesting what they choose as the Challenger Series events and whether some tournaments go to the Challenger Series that used to be prestigious. Not sure how the networks will take to this knowing they have “Challenger” Series events defined that way now. Also, I’m not happy that John Henry and Theo Epstein are involved. Look what Henry has done to the Red Sox.
