How often do you think this happens going unrealized? It's like we should almost have a secret handshake while we're golfing with strangers on courses!

Driver:  R11S 10.5°, Fairway Woods:  909 F2 15.5°, Hybrid:  G10 21°

Haha, There are 2 members that I do not know that golf at my home course. Easily a chance that I have seen them before and have never known.

We should come up with a plastic tag with our screen name that we can clip on our bags. That way they will be easily seen by other golfers.

I met Golf Cheif a couple years back. He is a ranger at the course I play. He recognized me by my lime green bag and the fact that I am 6' 8". We knew about the common course but had never met before that.

I'm pretty sure I'll never run into anyone.

With more and more people posting their swing video, that'll make the chances of bumping into someone and recognizing them higher.

That's a good point... What courses do you play at? How many times have we run into one another at various courses/golf shops?

I play often at Gross National, and sometimes Deer Run, Stonebrooke, and Goodrich. You?

I mostly play Gordon Lakes in Augusta when I am actually home. It would be fun to meet some fellow members. I know of two members already that I might get to play with.

In the North Metro: Oneka Ridge, Tanner's Brook, Keller, etc

In Southern MN: Green Lea, Oakview (dad's home course) I'll play others as well but not on a regular basis.

      PGA Tour Makes Sweeping Changes Starting in 2028

      Interesting changes. The idea of relegation and promotion have always been there in a different form (getting and losing your card etc and qualifying for bigger events) but it looks like they want to define it better for top tier events. The Tour has always had A and B level events (and even lower). It will be interesting what they choose as the Challenger Series events and whether some tournaments go to the Challenger Series that used to be prestigious. Not sure how the networks will take to this knowing they have “Challenger” Series events defined that way now. Also, I’m not happy that John Henry and Theo Epstein are involved. Look what Henry has done to the Red Sox.

      I have been debating getting a launch monitor of some sort, if only so I can re-figure my shot zones (I haven't actually mapped them in years) and also to practice distance wedges at home.  I have to see if this works with either my current setup, or what my setup would be if I move it to the garage.
