Ryder Cup on XM

My wife and I had to travel from Smithfield, VA to Lexington, KY on 9/19 and return on 9/21. Stuck in the car for 10 hours at a stretch prevented us from watching the Ryder Cup on TV. However, we have XM satellite radio in the car and got to listen to live coverage on channel 146. I don't want to sound like an advertisement for XM, but those guys did a great job. In some ways their descriptions of the action was more exciting than TV. I was wondering if anyone else heard the XM broadcast?

Having the PGA channel on XM was over 50% of the reason why I chose XM. I love the long drives while listening to the golf tournaments. Much better analysis and coverage and less ego (aka Johnny Miller) with the broadcasters.

I was on the road that weekend too and I was glad I had my XM so we could catch the action, as it were. Golf on the radio is a little silly but it was nice to know what was going on.

I was at the Ryder Cup and saw the XM guys running around everywhere. Not surprised they did a good job because litterally everytime you turned around they were running somewhere.

Stop by for some golf next time your in Lex!

I guess you were at Keeneland? Yeah, some good courses around this area and not too expensive either.
