Torque

Can someone explain to me what is torque, and how it affects the clubhead during a golf swing. How much does it affect ballflight? Thanks

One word: stability.

Low torque shafts are very stable and don't twist about as much. If you swing with a shaft that has too low torque, it may feel 'boardy'. But s shaft that has a torque value that is too high will make the shaft whippy and less accurate.

I'm of the opinion that the lower the torque you can get away with, the better.
