Just wondering what most people played with in terms of shafts on their hybrids......graphite or steel.

I'm toying with the idea of adding a 4 hybrid...considering going with a steel shafted model but wanted to see other opinions.

Graphite now, but I think I will eventually change them to steel.

It may just be me, when I started out I was more comfortable with graphite in just about everything, but over time I've gotten to where I like steel more and more. By the time I'm finished my driver may be the only graphite shafted club I own.

Right now I use True Temper Dynamic Gold SL shafts and like them so far. I had a graphite shaft in the hybrid before, but the tip was too soft and hooked everything. I honestly had no control of the club. I also didn't feel like spending $35-60 on a stiffer graphite shaft. It cost me nothing for steel and saved me some money for the future on a new hybrid. I wanted to find the right yardage gap between the 5 wood and 5 iron. The hybrid would go farther than the 3 wood sometimes????????????

Go steel and upgrade from there. Good luck
