Scotty Cameron Red X 5 price check

At my local pro shop they just got a used Scotty Cameron Red X 5 its condition is 9/10 and they are selling it for $170 it comes with the head cover and the original grip. Is it worth the pirce? My other question is that the putter is 35 inches in length will cutting it down to 34 inches make a significant difference?

Sounds like a good price. I went to a clearance sale today and there were 2 Scotty detour putters there at £150 each, normal price is £179 (not much of a clearance sale really). Am I right in thinking they are $300 in the US?

They are $199 in southern California

You may do a little better on E-bay but the convenience of your local shop doesn't make it worth your while.
I bought a 35" X3 and cut it down to 33" and noticed no difference, although it will change the swingweight.

Thanks for the help guys I think I will just buy from the store because of the convienience and because I would love to support my porshop it is really a great place to be.
