I haven't heard anything, but he did hurt my fantasy team for this week. :)

On a serious note, I do hope everything is ok with Bubba. I hope all is well with his health and family. I'd be interested to see why he withdrew as well. I noticed he played a few holes and then WD. So we will see I suppose.

Yeah i also hope everything is ok with him, and nothing too serious. I followed him on the nationwide tour for 2004 and 2005 and was great to see his results as a long hitter, then i started to mention his name to a few of my work colleagues and they used to get sick of me talking about an unknown bubba, so they started to realise when he made the pga tour that hes a really good player for the distance he smashes the ball off the tee, so we have been placing a lot of small bets on him, we won some money when he finished tied for 3rd at the chrysler classic of tucson, and thought we would put another bet on for the honda classic, so me and about 6 others all placed bets on him and he withdraws after 3 holes One of the guys who i work with has made over £400 on just 4 bets, and if it wasnt for me, he wouldnt know anything about him not to worry anyways, just wish him all the best for the up coming events! come on bubba!!!!!

i have followed him now or 3 years and havent regretted it one bit, hes amazing and an entertainer on the course.... hes just a unique player, doesnt care about lessons or keeping fit, jus playing good golf week in week out! you should have seen him at the sony open in howaii, i watched it on TV from 12 midnight to 3 in the morning, as im in the UK, and he was keeping me awake with his stunning drives of 360+ yards with no wind help and no elevation changes all hitting the fairways too, hes a special talent and i will be following him until he retires from the game! he smashed one at the sony open 398 yards just short of the green where other players were on there putting, and the crowd we looking at him as if to say...."wow... who the hell are you?!?!" and he walked back to his bag and tensed his arm to the crowd as if to say "look at these muscles" it was amazing to see him entertain the crowd like that, i really hope he makes the british open somehow, as liverpool is only 45 mins drive from where i live in the UK Bubba is the Boss!!!!!

You know, I think the PGA Tour should post on their website why the players either withdrawl from an event or why they are disqualified.

If it's personally related like family issues, then I don't need to know details, but otherwise, it's just good info. to have.

I listen to PGA radio at work and Thursday all they would say was personal reasons. I was curious about that also.

    • Day 314 - Putting some things together. Better grip/setup, fuller backswing, better finishing position. Filmed some swings, happy with the progress.
    • Day 130: did a stack session.
    • Day 206 (24 Nov 24)  - An easy session with the 54deg wedge and hard foam balls / one simple goal - distance control thru backswing length while not decelerating.  Had a playing partner comment they noticed me decelerating on a couple short wedge shots in last round.  Hit from distances from close to 40yds down to 20.
    • Musgrove Mill hole #15 was converted to a par 3 after Hurricane Helene. Today, I had 145 from the tee which is a perfect 9-iron for me. I aimed just right of the hole and pulled it a few feet. Clanked off the stick down into the hole and ricocheted out of the hole 13’ away. Drained the putt for a birdie after repairing the hole which was damaged . Not sure if it would have counted as a HIO, but I was pretty excited!
    • Day 55 - 2024-11-24 Did five levels of Operation 36 on GSPro (different courses). 🙂 Was -4 from 200 yards (32) intentionally laying up on each hole (i.e. not hitting a 5I or something). Shot… 22, 24, 26 from 25, 50, and 100 yards. I forget my 150-yard score, but obviously it was < 36. Putting was odd… (and I did it with the wedge or a 7I or whatever was in my hand).
