Not True. The Laser Link Gold can hit anything including people, trees, sandtraps, fairways, or pretty much anything else. The other laserlinks need a reflector.

Actually the reflectors aren't that expensive for a course to buy and install on the flagsticks, and they make a huge difference in how quickly the rangefinder picks up the pin. Even the good rangefinders work better and faster with the reflectors.
