I am currently using a Nike SQ SUMO Lucky 13. The shaft is the stock shaft, Sasquatch Diamana/ Mitsubishi Rayon, Regular Flex

Ball flight is no longer a issue and as I have gotten better, I am getting too much height on my drives.

I don't have money to just go buy a new driver and I have been totally unsuccessful in selling this one. So my question is, can I buy a different shaft to counteract the extreme ball height on drives?

what is the loft?

what is your swing speed? yo ucould prob get a little heavier/stiffer shaft that might help.

otherwise your set up might be off. make sure your center of weight is about 6 in behind the ball not right behind it like an iron. this helps u bottom out before the ball and get rid of sky balls

but if your degree angle is more than 10* you might be out of luck

The Lucky 13 is 13* loft. Last time I was on a machine I think my swing speed was 99-101mph and my ball speed was approx 140

I just stuck a Regular prolaunch red in my Sumo and am really liking it. It keeps the ball pretty low, but you're still fighting a 13+ head. The Red is stiffer than a "normal" regular so that may help with your swing speed as well.

That said, I think you were interested in one of my rescues? I've also got a Wilson 10 degree driver. Maybe we could figure out a trade? I like screwing around with different drivers...

if you reach swing speeds of up to 100mph you def dont need a 13* driver that is for sure.

and at the same token, a stiffer flex shaft isnt a bad idea either. i would check ebay or something and maybe jsut pick up a cheap 9-11* driver which would help a lot
