So the bag is shaping up, i finally like almost every club in my bag, minus the short game utensils.

Something just isnt sitting right with me and my vokeys anymore.. Dont know, im playing well, just need to change i guess..

SO basically, whats the difference between the T and the R besides the grind on the T being a bit more aggresive looking? I picked up a R 47 as a PW tonight for 50 bones, and its sweet, but what is the main difference between the two models?

PS, Rambler, your clubs will be out tommorow! Hope you like the MB's!

I play the MP-R 54-10. As far as I know, the R indicates a more rounded club head like my irons. The T indicates a Tear-drop shape, more like the Vokey. I understand it is purely what one prefers. I liked knowing that my wedges were not going to appear different at address than my irons. Also, I didn't want to get accustomed to a larger club face with my wedge than my irons.

Search the club review section of the main site. There was a very good review done on these wedges a few months ago.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

The differences between the MP-T and MP-R are the head shapes, the sole grinds and the loft/bounce angles. I tried both models and really didn't prefer one over the other because the differences were so minor IMO. Both looked and felt great. I bought the Rs because they came in the lofts I wanted and they were in stock.

I'm pretty sure the main difference is just the shape of the head (MP-T=tear drop, MP-R=round), but they do offer some different loft/bounce combos depending on whether you go with the MP-T or MP-R. I think I read on their website the grind was different too. MP-T has a C grind and MP-R has workshop grind. Honestly, have no idea what the difference is though. I liked the look of the tear drop head so that is what I went with, but from the previous posts looks like I may be in the minority.
