My mind can't figure out how it's possible. I'm specifically referring to the Wilson Zip. And what advantages is this supposed to offer?

It happens to be with the gauge they use to measure core compression and it supposedly measures 0 on this ball.It is supposedly a good ball in cold weather,I have tried it and for its price 1999 dz it aint bad.

I think it's a little misnomer.....but what the hey?

Guy in the pro-shop offered the same explanation that Flap stated....just doesn't register on the guage....

I bought a dozen Wilson Fiftys last month....played one sleeve of them. I played them during two rounds where it was very cold in the morning. Action off the driver and woods seemed just fine (maybe 1/2 club shorter than my favorite two balls...E5+ and Noodle Plus-long and soft). Wedge work was great with the ball, however it was very muted off the putter.....didn't really like this aspect of the ball. I prefer the firmer "click" off the putter that my faves provide.

Haven't tried the Zips yet...but would think they'd be along the same line as my Fiftys were...maybe even more soft / muted.

Give 'em a try....can't go wrong for the price.

Wilson can probably answer your questions best. Here's what Wilson has to say:
