Right now I use a dunlop vision putter right now but I have problems with aligning my putts. I was looking at the sabertooth because I have hurd that it has good alignment. I was also looking at the #2 with the center shaft because it looks like the outer edge can align with the line. It seems like it would work with the new cleveland VP milled with the line and dot. Does anyone use the sabertooth or #2 with the center shaft that can give feedback on alignment?

If interested in the Sabertooth may I suggest you also look at the TM Spider. I play the center shaft version. The lineup is very good and it's an easy putter to get used to.

Can't go wrong with alot of the high MOI crazy looking putters out there right now. I have used the 3-ball and the Sabertooth, both are very easy to line up. There are many posibilities out there.....try them out, I'm sure you'll be happy with one of them ( for a little while )

i can speak on behalf of the sabertooth and say it was very easy to use it. i only had it for a few rounds as i borrowed it from my uncle's spare set when i visited him down in florida. i normally game with a cleveland vp milled #2. i absolutely love it, the white mark on the back is the same size as the ball and it makes for an absolute breeze to line up, i shaved about 6-8strokes off my game just by switching to it.

I have had the same alignment problems as you and I have found using a mallet style putter with 3 alignment lines rather than just 1 helps me out. I bought a Yes! Marilyn, I just couldn't have one of those ugly spiders, sabretooths et al in my bag.

For alignment issues I really....really like the following two putters:

1) Tiffany model. This putter is so easy to align that it's crazy. I'd use it in a skinny minute if I drifted away from my current wand. They offer both heel and center shafted models. Sweet stick.

2) 2-Ball series. There are so many versions of this putter that you are bound to find a good fit for you. I used one for years and loved the results.

Last year I was starting to struggle with alignment through my stroke using either my 2 Ball or 3 Ball putters. I went to Golf Galaxy and was looking at used putters and found an old Scotty Cameron Futura Phantom center-shafted putter. This putter has 3 'dots' behind shaft that for a proper in-to-in arc swing you are never supposed to see. I picked it up for $40 (it wasn't in great shape and had bad grip which I replaced) just as a training aid but liked it so much I kept it in the bag and it's what I use to this day, rather successfully. If your problem is with alignment not necessarily at address, but rather when striking the ball I think this model and type of visual aid is great. I know it definitely helped me so that now I am much better even when using another putter. There are other models that use something very similar to help keep your stroke on proper swing arc.

The Sabertooth is really good for alignment, same reason I purchased it, my putting has come down by 3.2 strokes per round since I have had it, I could not be happier.
