Has anybody played with leather sole golf shoes? How are they in wet grass condition? How long do they last? Any special maintainence required? Have you tried spraying WD-40 on the soles to make them water proof?

Dunno about the leather shoes but I wouldn't suggest spraying anything on your shoes to make them water proof. Even if it does work it would just mean that your shoes won't breath and that would get uncomfortable (not to mention smelly) after 18 holes of golf.
