driver heads and shafts

i feel dumb asking this for some reason but will all shafts fit on all driver heads? i want to pick up an 07 burner and i would like to know if a proforce v2 will fit on it.

my gut tells me yes but i would like to be sure

Negitive, There are many tip sizes,

.335 and .350 are the most common ones, not always compatible. Take the shafts to a golf shop and they will help you out. Or even check out some websites on the shaft and the driver to try to get a match if you are still shopping around.

There are basically two tip diameter sizes when it comes to driver heads and shafts. I believe they are .335 and .350. The smaller shaft can be made to fit in the bigger hosel with a spacer. The bigger shaft can be made to fit in a smaller hosel if it is routed out, again I believe. Someone else will clarrify that though. But I do know their are two sizes...haha

OK well i'm glad i asked. does anyone know the tip diameter of the 07 burner? i looked around on tm's site but i couldnt find anything. i did check out ust's site and the diamter for the shaft i use is .335

if no one knows ill end up just shooting tm an email and im sure they'll be able to help me out

What I would suggest is going to your local club builder (or just call) and ask. Also, if you look at their products on TM's site, and look at the club/shaft specs, it SHOULD be there... i think.

But caution... even if you buy the correct shaft size, you MUST have the correct ferrule, or else your shaft won't fit correctly and you will damage the club.

My '07 Burner has a .335 Shaft, but i have an '07 r7 driver with a .350 hosel, I put a UST V2 shaft in it and it came with a spacer to fit the head because it was also a .335 shaft. I have been watching ebay for just a Burner head to put the V2 shaft in because the r7 is a draw driver and I can't get any kind of fade out of it because of the draw bias on the face.

does golf galaxy qualify as a club builder? and will they know which is the correct ferrule

Golf Galaxy is a good place to go, i was there yesterday and they always have a good selection of used drivers that you can hit in the simulator(if they have one) and it will give you a readout of ball speed, launch angle and distance of the ball. That way you can see how the ball flys on different shafts. I don't know where you live, but Golfsmith also has a pro shop for shaft replacements. Good Luck
