I have just changed my irons from Nike CCi cast (45* PW) to Nike forged Pro Combos (47* PW). With my 45* pw I used a 50, 54 and 60* wedge. Now my PW is 47* it seems pointless having the 50* (I have used this alot in the past). Should I drop the 50 and just use the 54 and 60? (I'm considering having them bent to 53 and 59 or buying a 52 and 58). Reading back through this post it sounds a bit confusing but I await your opinions.
PS How much is it to have a wedge bent?

My favourite wedge setup is the 46,52,58 combo. But to save you some money I would just bend the wedges you have right now.

I believe its less than $7 a club for bending.

It should only cost you $5 per club to change the loft of the club.

Your gaps may be more evenly spaced if you go 47, 53, 60...That's 7* between each wedge. However, I think 47, 52, 58 would probably work just as well. Your gaps would be even smaller with that set up. It depends how far you hit each club to determine which set-up would be "better".

What about 48, 54, 60? If you bend your PW a degree weak (and possibly your 9i .5* weak), then you would not have to mess with your wedges at all. If you are comfortable with your wedges as they are now, keep them and only change your new clubs.

If you like carrying 4 wedges, get the 50 & 54 bent 1 degree, and carry 47,51,55,60. Very evenly spaced, you should have a club for any distance.
