My daugther has a spring break, which I am taking a week off of work during that time. My dad and I are going to go with my mother/daugther grandma and my fiancee. We want to go somewhere fairly affordable, and conducive to golf in the months of mid march. Of course we want there to be functions for my fiancee, mother, and daugther to be active with. Swimming, theme parks, anything like that would do. Anyone provide insight or any creative ideas?

50-80 dollar greens fees would be in our range, of course I would go 100 if the place was top notch.

Thanks in advance for any input.

Florida, Like Orlando or slightly south, Kissimmee or St Cloud. Theme parks out the yang, Disney, Universal, Sea World, Bush Garens less thn an hr west, Melborne, Coco Beach to the east and golf.....Kissimmee Bay, Remington,Royal links at St Cloud,Orange Co National, Falcons Fire, are close to the airport and range from $90 and down. There are many more course's, higher and lower priced. That's where I'll be next month for at least 2 month's.(stay for free, have family all over there) There is more to do there within a 1 1/2 hr drive than you can do in a week or two

San Antonio, Texas Hill Country area, Padre Island area.

Fly into San Antonio. There is Sea World, Fiesta Texas, and the great San Antonio zoo. Could also catch a Spurs game. San Antonio weather in March is great for golf. Nice golf courses. Cheap.
South Padre isn't far from San Antonio. There is a decent beach and good golf courses at Padre Island.

I have a group heading to Biloxi the last weekend in March......it's gonna save us 12 hours driving round trip and about $125/man vs a trip to Myrtle.......

I've spent most of my life golfing - the rest I've just wasted.
