Can anyone explain how the new FT-iq is being sold on eBay for $349-399 when it's retailing for $499 and up at golf stores around the country? I can't believe that Callaway is selling in bulk to wholesalers knowing that they are going to undercut store prices, so how are these eBay sellers making money off the sale (other than by selling stolen clubs)? Most of the sellers appear to be legitimate (e.g., guys with 43,000 sales on eBay), so I doubt they're forgeries. Any ideas?

That's the million dollar question, it's not just golf equipment that sales like that, it's electronics, cell phones, shoes, you name it. I too have always wondered how that works.

No storefront, employees, advertising, etc… Just need some warehouse space, camera, and computer.

Not true, most if not all of the major manufactors will not sell you equipment without a brick and mortar location.

???? How do you explain online (non brick/mortar) places like TGW and GPPGolf? Same applies to eBay storefronts.

TGW is brick and mortar, they have a store in Wichita, KS. I would bet a significant amount of money that GPPGolf has a storefront, same with all of the ebay stores. Call Callaway or Titliest and try to buy products to resale as a retailer without a brick and mortar location, won't happen, been there, tried that.
