Does anybody use them? What is your overall response? Are they soft? Long? Better or worse than Pro V1's? Find a killer deal that I might pull the trigger. Looking for any urethane ball that is available at most golf stores, in person or online too. Thanks

Not very good IMO

don't get anywhere near the same amount of feel as the ProV1/x or the Callaway Tour i/x

Shown in the fact that at the Buick Invitational 85% of the T/Made staff players where not using the TP balls!

I play the TP Red, and have played the TP Black, I used to and still do on occation play the Pro V1 and V1x. Reason I switched was purely me, no ball fitting, no one telling me that rock hard Bridgestone's will go farther, nope simply played them heads up when I played 2 balls by my self. For my swing, the TP Red gave me the best ball flite, best greenside wedge feel and ,nice soft feel off the putter face. Everytime I played the TP Red against the pro V's the Taylormade had a better score,(maybe 1 or 2 stokes, but better.) I played them against the comparable ball, The Blacks, a 3 piece ball against the Pro V and the Red a 4 piece ball against the Pro V1x. The Pro V was very good against the TP Black having the same or 1 stoke better but the TP Red has always been better for me personaly than all of them. Bad part they are $40 a dozen and the previous model is nowhere as good as the current ones. Look for the TP LDP marking on the ball, it has a different cover than the oler version which I didn't care for at all. Best thing is to do buy a sleve and go play, on a course under normal playing conditions. Trackman and ball speed moniter are great but I prefer to believe my eyes and watching the ball flight instead of a computer monitor.
