Has anyone played the Callaway x20/x22 with the stock 'uniflex' shaft. Any thoughts/feedback would be appreciated.

Kind of lame they couldn't come up with a real shaft being one of the bigges golf companies.

I've not played that model yet with the uniflex. The whole "uniflex" thing is so tired and played out. They have been using that for 10+ years. Of course you can custom order other shafts. But come on Callaway.

bit confused...how do you have only one flex in a shaft?

Basically to cut costs and increase/maintain profit margin, Callaway introduced the uniflex steel shaft which, ive been told is (yes you guessed it) halfway between a regular and stiff flex shafts with subtle step variations through the club.

ive actually never hit them. im of the belief that: if your good enough and can notice the flex, your probably looking at inserting a better shaft.

I'm pretty sure that a uniflex shaft would be between a ladies flex and regular flex.

yes, but the x-22's are not ladies clubs! And what did you mean when you said that the uniflex shafts are stupid?
