When does handicap season start?

There is a certain time (say april-october) in vancouver where you are required to log your rounds for handicap?

Just wondering how long i have to work the rust off my game because of offseason before i start logging my h-cap again?

I need to find specific dates please and thanks

You should be posting every round (9 or 18) you play at a rated course. I never heard of a handicap season.
