I recbtly got an F-60 3W with an an EXSAR FS-3 Regular Shaft (Torque 3.5, Weight 70g and Ball flight Mid-High). I find the weight of the shaft a tad heavy for me and am I thinking of replacing it with a pull out from an MX-560 driver (EXSAR MD-1 Regular Shaft, Torque 4.3, weight 50g, DFR Mid).

I'd like to get your opinion if there would be any problems on using a driver shaft on a fairway wood head. Thanks in advance!

As long as the tip size is the same you won't have a problem at all. Just cut it down to 3 wood length.

Cutting a driver shaft (approx. 45") down to a 3W shaft (approx. 43") will make the shaft stiffer. There's probably not much else to worry about except for that. You may want to try out a 50 g shaft before you put it in your 3W. They are really light IMO. TM makes a few fairway woods with 55g shafts, so you may want to swing one of those to make sure a light shaft is not too light for you.

55g is Super light for a fwy. The butt cutting will firm it up a tad but not noticable, you may need to tip trim it to account for the extra weight of a 3w head vs. a driver head. I'd tip it before I cut to length.
