Anyone got or tried a Never Compromise putter?

I am still looking for a milled putter and i have found a Never Compromise GM2 Exchange #5. It's from 2007. Perfect looking and just what i want. Haven't tried one ever but its milled and i have tried so many different milled putters which are too expensive but feel great. It's £65, or $92 for the American population of TheSandTrap. I have a £10 putter at the moment with no feel and an insert that provides no touch but especially, no consistency.

Replies from people who have tried NeverCompromise putters would be greatly appreciated.

I had one of their first offerings as soon as they came out. It was a mallet design. I never could get used to gray matter face material. My distance control suffered.

if your looking for a cheaper milled putter check out the cleveland classic series they have 2 blade style and a #9 style mallet. there awesome putters i love mine. the pro at my shop cant beleive the price on them he said they feel just like the putters that cost twice as much.

Our pro shop has a couple of different models of these Clevelands. I tried them the other day....felt really nice.

I was thinking the same thing. They are about $70 if I'm not mistaken and are supposed to be really good though I've never hit one. You could try the VP series, too. I think they were reviewed on this site actually.

I don't think I'd ever get used to the grey insert on the N.C. putters. It just looks weird. One of my friends (about a 4 handicap) plays one and he's a sick putter. To each their own though. Try it out to see what's for you.

I have a never compromise Z/Alpha mallet putter and I used it over a Scotty Cameron Newport 2.

I have not putted the exchange, but I use an old NC voodoo daddy center shafted and love it, The feel and sound is excellent and the quality and workmanship are outstanding. I'm sold on the company. good luck!

I had a Never Compromise, it had that grey matter as the insert on the face. I hated it, it felt like putting with a piece of plastic with no control over distance. Putter lasted about 2 weeks in the bag. I wanted to like the putter, visually it looked great but the feel was awful.

So am i right in saying that the gray bit is actually not 304 stainless? And its an insert? That's disappointing. . .

Anyone who has said about this insert - are you sure its the GM2 Exchange #5 ??? have a look on the website at the #5 model and anyone who knows about these, could you tell me if that one has an insert?
