Nippon 950 iron shafts....any opinions???

I was considering this shaft on my next set of irons.

I wouldn't mind the higher trajectory and overall lighter stick....just curious what other's experiences have been with these shafts.

I love the 950 shafts. If I ever go back to steel irons they are on my very short list. They hit the ball high, but to me, they just feel very soft, sweet and solid at impact!

i have them in a set of Precept EC603's and I love em. I prefer them over the DG's

I think i had those in my Titleist 775 a while back. I thought they were great shafts although a bit on the light side.

Had the same exact set up and just a tad too high for me. Just sold a set of B'stone GC Mids for the same reason.

I have them now. Replaced the Project X Tour Flighted Rifles (6.0) with them, and they are great.

I'm wondering, because they will be a good bit lighter than my current shafts....just wondering what the downside will be.

i am considering a purchase of 2008 r7 cgb max irons outfitted with nippon 950 stiff steel new by taylormade. Is this a better choice over the stock black steel shafts that normally come with?

I absolutely love my Nippons, no hesitation there. I have no experience with the black steel shafts you are mentioning, but from what little I can find they are also a lighter steel shaft, maybe even a hair lighter than the Nippons, but no idea how they would perform vs. a Nippon.
