Recently went to Totally Driven in MN to get fit for the season. I wanted more consistency and distance with my irons and driver. After hours of hitting balls, I found the right shaft for my irons, and I will return in a few weeks for full driver anaylsis. The one part of my game that I thought was all figured out was my putting. Using a 2-ball for the last four seasons, I have had many rounds with sub 30 putts. In fact, at my home course, Stonebrooke, I had only 11 putts on the front nine during a tournament. While they looked over my putter, they used a laser and a mirror to check my alignment, and it showed that I was aiming the 2-ball almost a foot inside on a 12 foot putt. The loft was also at least 3 degrees too much. I only made 4 of 10 putts from this distance. When the guy from Totally Driven made a custom putter from scratch, I actually aligned my putter at the cup every time and made a whooping 8 or 9 putts out of 10 from 12 feet every time! It was like magic! What I'm asking is that even though I love this putter, I just put $500 dollars into my irons, and this magic putter will cost $340. I wondering if this is worth the cash because I have to pay for all these changes without the assistance of my dad. He forked out the fee for the entire bag fitting, and I need to pay for all the adjustments. To help here is the website:

I think you just went under the placebo effect. You didnt know that you were aimed that incorrectly, or that the loft was banged off. this is your putter, and unfortunatly because the guy at the store showed you that what you had was wrong and what he had was right, you are probably going to have that in your mind for a while. But I think you should stick with your original

In my Bag:

Hybrid: rescue dual 18*

    • Day 21 - Good session with driver and 6i. Hitting real golf balls is quite a bit different from the foam balls, still getting used to that change.
    • There are so many videos comparing and contrasting everything that I am both overwhelmed and more than a bit skeptical. Your comments above are much more valuable than hours of you-tube videos. Generally speaking, I’d much prefer to read something that someone took the time and trouble to write (such as your comments) than a bunch of videos, or worse, meaningless reviews that seem like they are all cut and paste selections of the same script. I’m more of a RTFM type than a watcher of “instructional” videos. By way of explanation, I don’t watch TV either.  So thanks - I’ll take that under advisement. I have an H3 that I bought for $10 that I’ve been carrying around but not sure why. Seems like a cool club, but I just don’t really know what to do with it.
    • I was using the window as a mirror. Just trying to be a more aware of the feels for a better backswing. Trying to not be as closed from A1 to A2. Then not letting the club head flip inside. What I was feeling was a pressure my right wrist, and like the palm of my right hand was pushing upward against the grip of the club. My right hand was the underside of the swing path.  Going to play around with this a bit more. It looked pretty decent with mirror/window work. Just wanted to jot it down.
    • Day 4: 3/26/25 Par4Success workout followed by putting through 50 mm gates.
    • Day 249: did a stack putting session and then worked on 5 foot putts for a bit.
