Fun groups without being too serious in Phoenix?

My dad used to play golf with a group of guys every Sunday. Once a year they would all treck up to Northern Arizona for a golf weekend. They recently told him he was not going to be invited this year. I am looking for a group of golfers who don't take their game too seriously, get together weekly, and play not so expensive courses in West / North Phoenix area. My dad is in his 60's, has about a 16-20 handicap (not sure he tracks it), and enjoys a beer with everyone after a round. Anyone like that on here?

They didn't give a reason....which is the worst part. Last year he shared a room with someone he didn't know. Neither of them are invited back. The other guy was a bit difficult from what I've heard.
