bridgestone ball fitting?

anyone done one? the ski and golf ishaving one and i plan on stopping by, what kind of results did you get? did they suggest non bstone balls like they suggest in the commericals?

I did this awhile back at a local driving range. I told them my normal ball was the Taylormade TP Black and after a few swings they told me to try the Bridgestone B330s. I don't think they'll recommend for you a new non-bridgestone ball, but if the ball you are already using is working better for you than any of their own balls, they'll tell you to stick with it.

I did the online fitting. There were a two questions that had two possible answers, so I mixed it up. Out of the 4 results, 3 where the B330S. I tried the ball and it is great!

I went in October of 2007. For point of comparison, I started summer 2006 and broke 100 the week before the British Open of 2007. I was playing the Titleist DT So/Lo at the time. I hit a few of those into the net and they measured how well I was doing - and did so quite accurately. The guy seemed surprised that someone of my handicap didn't slice it severely. At this time, I was averaging about 8-9 fairways per round, about 190 yards from the tee.

He suggested the Bridgestone e6 (this was well before the e6+ was announced), and I hit that. According to the print-out, it said I'd hit another fairway or two due to reduced side-spin, and I'd gain about 10 yards. I have to admit, I didn't believe him, but he gave me a free sleeve, so I figured why not? Next time out, I used the e6, hit 10 fairways and hit a shorter club into the greens by one (so, about ten yards). I continued with that ball until last August, when I switched to my current one.
