I do not have any videos, but I have always had a little trouble with my driver. My irons i have always hit perfect with a nice little draw and my driver i have trouble hitting on the sweet spot. Since it is a bigger and longer club, do you think maybe i am moving my head a little bit when i am in my backswing to gain power and that could be a reason why i may top it or slice it? Sometimes i kill my drive like 280 yds perfectly straight and then other times i hit a hook. any opinions would be appreciated, i will get a video soon so people can tell me what they think. Thanks

It really is hard to make any kind of diagnosis without a video, or photos, so don't expect too many helpful answers on here.

Here is what I did when my ball striking got bad. I cannot be one-hundred percent if it will work for you at all.

I looked at the front of the ball.

A fairly common reason for people to strike irons well but not the longer clubs could be a fairly steep swing plane. If you have similar problems with your longer irons to your driver, you could very well be set up and swinging too steep. The longer clubs use a flatter swing for solid consistant striking.

thing is, with my taylormade rescue burner pretty much like a 3 iron, thats the best club in my bag, i can get it dead straight 230 yards everytime. My 4 iron i hit pretty decent as well, i just do not like to use this club. Ill take videos today. Thanks

    • I had a few tweeks in the bag. I took out my Mizuno pro FliHi 3 iron replaced it with a Titleist GT2 7 Wood. what a change that is, so easy to hit, it goes so high without it ballooning on me. I couldn't get rid of my callaway woods ( Rogue ST Max LS ) but changed the shafts to Diamana BB 63 stiff for the driver and 73 stiff for the 3 wood. Than i got myself a new putter Odyssey S2S jailbird yes i joined the centershaft family
    • First off all i think you should use the same ball all the time. We all strive for consistency on the course, the only factor you can be sure it will be always the same is your ball if you always use the same. So i think we should always use the same. I recently switched from Titleist Pro V1x to Srixon Z-Star Diamond because it i get a bit softer feel around the greens and same results on driver and irons
