Hey guys,

I have been looking for a new putter for a month or so. Wanted something less than $120. Went in to Edwin Watts and Golfsmith to putt around 10 times. Was set on the Ping Karsten Anser 2 for $89.99. Then I did more research and found the Cleveland Classic #1 and I am glad I did. WOW. I putted yesterday with a putter I like a lot, the Newport 2. Then I putted with the Cleveland and was amazed at the feel. I loved that it takes NO effort to get the ball moving (like the Scotty and unlike my current putter), so that will mean less putts short. It feels VERY, very similar to the Scotty. I went online to check more reviews, and there you have it, most people say it feels exactly as a Scotty, but for, get this, $69.00 . As some people on this site have said, please take a look at this putter if you are in the market. Milled face with awesome feel and roll.

I am picking mine today at Edwin Watts and heading for the course after work.

Will follow up.

I too was looking for a new putter this year, and while I wasn't able to throw down more than $150 for a putter this year, I decided on the Cleveland CC3 even though there were more expensive options. I love the feel of the putter and it looks pretty sweet too. I was coming from a mallet style putter and thought there would be a bit of work to get used to the feel, but if a blade feels that good already, good.

Enjoy your new classic.

Just picked up the new odyssey black series 2 ball...but before that i have the odyssey sabertooth, and for 169 it's a great deal, perfect weighting and the touch is like butter, line it up right and distance isn't much of an issue...

The face is milled, the picture just doesn't show.

As far as the balance it has about 30% toe hang from what I remember.

Shows a bit more the milled face
