The Founders is no great shakes,They tried to make it a Tru Blue lite but it did not come out that way.Yeah Avocet is nice but the 21/2 others they took away were nice too.I hope the Benton Bros. go belly up just on GP alone.

I played Founders Club at Pawleys in early March with a group of 10 players. We all liked it. Altough it has a lot of big waste bunkers like True Blue, I wouldn't say that they tried to make it like True Blue. We also played Caledonia, Barefoot Fazio, Kings North, Legends Moorland and Legends Heathland on this trip (all excellent courses) and no one was disappointed by Founders Club. It may not have been the best course of the trip, but it held its own and we had a fun round. Here is a link

years ago it was called Seagull and was kind of low on the totem pole.Compared to the other courses you played it was not up to snuff.Because of the wildfires Fazio will be closed for a while which sucks because we were supposed to play it on the13th but got the call on Thursday that we had to rechoose so we will add Heritage to replace it.They also have now closed the Love course and have shifted us over to the Dye course on the 10th when we land.
