need help deciding if i should make a change...

i went to the club fitter at a golf retail store. he said i was about 1- 1/2 inch shorter than standard length. i forgot to ask about the lie angle. but i don't have that much problem playing with them. i have no problem breaking 90 so i don't think its that much of an issue. but i was thinking of getting fitted for the lie angle and sending them to callaway to alter (they priced me about 260-280 for 9 clubs).

anyone here who played w/ the standard length and switched to custom size
your opinion is especially apretiated.
but would really would like to hear from the low handicappers.
