Is there anyway to watch the European Tour events other than 02:00 on the Golf Channel? I know that is usually the live airing times, but TGC used to show reruns of the previous rounds. I used to love TGC excellent coverage of the European Tour, but now it sucks. Is was great to watch a tournament on Europe's varied courses and without the constant "Tiger cam".

Same here, I watched the BMW in Italy yesterday. Last week I saw some of the Open in Spain as well. Been trying to follow John Daly. He is playing pretty well by the way. Finished -3 in Spain and is currently -6 in the BMW. He looks good. The BMW was on during the day, morning I believe, and again late at night. These last few days the Golf Channel has been devoting most all of its coverage to The Players of course. But the European Tour gets a good bit of coverage if you ask me. I will often record it on the DVR and watch it on my time.

Thanks, I looked at TGC schedule and read that the Italian Open is on in the morning. Since I work essentially a swing shift(no pun intended), I end up missing the events most of the time. I guess I need to look into that DVR thing. Heck, I just got a cell-phone last year. I still think TGC coverage was more in the past, multiple showings during the week.

I hear you man. I hate cell phones.

As for the DVR, it is a digital video recorder. It is just the digital cable box, nearly standard service these days. Sometimes you may need to switch out your current box depending on what you have. Just take it in and tell them you want a DVR. It works just like your regular cable box, but it records. Literally with a push of a button. You access the on tv programming guide, go to the Golf Channel or whatever, scroll ahead up to about two weeks out and push a "record" button. Thats it. Best part, when you play back recorded shows, you can fast forward through the commercials. All one hour shows on tv are more like 40 minutes. Nice to record stuff and watch it without the commercials. Easy as pie man. You will wonder how you ever lived without it. I work 12 hour night shifts (ER nurse) and feel your pain on the swing shifts. Makes it impossible to watch anything live. But now that I can fast forward commercials, who would want to

    • It’s possible the graphite shaft has a small internal crack or a delamination. Tapping it and hearing a vibrating sound is usually a sign the shaft isn’t behaving as it should. Since the store wasn’t helpful, consider taking it to a club fitter or a pro shop that can check the shaft flex and integrity. If it’s defective, you might be able to get a replacement from the manufacturer.
    • It’s interesting how much a 3D system changes your understanding. Observing top players in full detail and realizing the trail knee shouldn’t fully extend is a great example of why being open to new info is so important. I like your approach: not trying to be “right,” but trying to teach correctly based on actual evidence. Makes sense why golfers would benefit from this perspective.
    • I would say both are equally not the best for golf. Is it better than nothing, sure.  Golf is an athletic motion. Professional golfers are doing a comprehensive workout routine focusing on strength, power, flexibility, stability. They might include some yoga into the routine. I would put both of them in the recovery bin, not golf enhancement bin.  If you want to increase swing speed, core strength, longevity in golf and life, then lift heavy weights.
