I just completed my BBIV application , and man is it thorough. Fifty-three questions plus an essay, but why not at least give myself a chance. Why not have everyone on the forum apply just for the heck of it. If one of us gets on, we can plug TST.com till people's ears bleed ! I'd really like to see if the show really is more difficult than a tournament. Hopefully we'll see.

Sweet, thanks for the link. I was looking for the application right after BBII ended. I applied to BBII, thought it was great but never heard back. Are you guys going to include a photo? I think that's what I was missing last time. An essay though huh? Man, did I HATE English classes in school.

If I were going to apply (I'm not, I think it's more fun to comment on those that do ), I'd watch all the episodes where they show part of the interviews. Look at how the people who didn't make it acted and look at how the people who did make it acted.

TGC wants good television first and foremost, I bet. There will be plenty of good golfers applying - tons - but how many have a personality that makes for good TV?

Type A personalities, people. Everyone hated Don in BBII, but had that guy gone after episode II, TGC would have felt the impact.

Got it, I'll just shake like I've got Parkinson's syndrome every time I need to tee up a ball. After any possible ruling, I'll call for an official and take an hour to plead my case and then I'll throw a fit and break my clubs after every errant shot!

I'll be a shoe-in!

Practice saying "Pull the tape tight!

Pull it tight! " twenty times before going to bed.

      Day 159 1-19 Flow drill while attempting to add arch in wrist on downswing. Not where it needs to be but felt good working on swing flow.

      Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.

      That depends what you do within those two.  Are they your only options?   Check out Fit for Golf if you get a moment.  It's linked on the sidebar;  I did it for two years, stopped for a really bad reason, and I plan to get back to it soon.   Mike Carroll also has a great free podcast about a lot of topics in golf fitness.

      Day 30 - 2026-01-19 Got 10 minutes in on the mat / net working on exagerrating movements I'm working on. And grip. Also worked with my friendly AI to summarize key negative tendencies I have so that I can build a personal checklist to follow. Will do more mirror work tonight.
