I bought a box of CALLAWAY TOUR IX today. I have been using the CALLAWAY HOT BITE, however I can't get much distance or stay straight off the tee. I do love the bite on the greens.
I am hoping the CALLAWAY TOUR IX will be a more complete ball.
What do you guys think?

They scuff easily and are not exactly the longest ball. They do have good spin to them and are quite easy to stop on the green.

I hope you did not pay regular price for them. If so, my recommendation is to take them back and exchange them for the ProV1X. You'll get a better ball at the same dollar value.

Bah! ProV1! Lol. Just kidding. But seriously, that is a lot of peoples opinions. I havent played a ball yet that feels as good as the Tour-i and the Tour-ix though. I wont play with ANY other ball. I pay full price too. The Pro-V's just feel... its hard to describe... kind of dead to me or something. (not the best description, but thats the only way I can describe it) For some reason even looking down at the dimples seems better than a Titleist to me. Flame suit on!

In my bag:

Burner 3w
Burner 5w Burner Plus 4I-SW 60* LW, 52* GW Rossa Spider putter

    • Wow that was disingenuous. Like, let’s ignore that golfers actually rotate. It isn’t all side bend. Has incorrect or excessive side bend hurt golfers sure. In no way are golfers taught to just fling their hips towards the target. To basically claim it’s him versus this evil golf instruction industry is just disingenuous.

    • I'm starting to move with some speed and confidence. Carried the fairway bunker 225 yards out on the 17th yesterday fairly comfortably. I don't think it was a one off drive either. Pretty much back to game speed. On another note it doesn't seem like my pelvis is nearly as thrusty compared to a this time last year. I hope I'm judging that correctly. It's an ongoing battle.
