Nike VR Split Backs vs. Nike Forged CCi Irons

For those of you who have hit both, how would you compare the two?

I upgraded from the CCi cast to the split backs. They are both great irons, a little too much offset and a thicker topline on the CCi was the reason I changed over to the split backs. Are you looking to upgrade from the CCi?

No. I was in the market for the VR split backs but came across a sweet deal for a set of new forged CCi irons. I am currently hitting some garbage TaylorMade irons.

If the CCi's are considerably cheaper then the split backs I would get them. They are still a pretty new design (2007 I think) and a good club.

I would get the CCI because for me I dont like the completly hollowed out back on the split backs.

Golfsmith has the CCI's for $399 right now..
