I was trying to search over the internet for some review on this shaft , and i havent been able to find any so far , thing is that im looking for a pink shaft for my driver , so far i have 2 choices which are , Grafalloy Prototype Bimatrix , and Aldila NV 65 which also comes in pink.

Right now the driver i use is a Titleist 905S and as for my shaft it's an Aldila NV 65S (Green) so i know that if i get the same Aldila but in pink i wont have to take any chances cause i know the shaft and it's working pretty good for me .

So im just looking for some reviews or feedback from people who actually tried the shaft , or maybe a website reviewing this shaft cause so far i havent been able to find anything beside spec sheet and papers from Grafalloy.

Shafts are the kind of thing that are very unique to everyone. If the Aldila NV 65S works for you, that's your shaft.

Nah that's for sure , but i would like to have some feedback on this shaft from people who tried it , I mean if everyone hate the shaft well you are more likely to not like it either but if everyones loves it , there's a good chance that the shaft is good , doesn't mean it's gonna fit you or you're gonna like it but it has a better chance than the other shaft .

I always try the shaft before buying it , the problem is that i did not find any store near me who had this shaft in stock , you gotta order it (im in canada, quebec) , and i don't wanna spend a 100$+ for a shaft i won't like . so knowing that the grafalloy prototype is a good shaft i would put energy in finding a place where they have that shaft in-stock so i can try it .

Actually i tried calling golf Town , and some other retailers around me and most of them don't even have this shaft yet , and the few of them who have this shaft in stock , don't have any demo driver to go along with the shaft so it's actually impossible to try this shaft yet (most of the people i spoke to told me that it would take something around 4-5 month before getting driver that comes with this shaft) ,so you gotta buy it , and take a chance before you know if you'll like it or not... So i guess ill have to go with the Aldila

.... Bimatrix shafts aren't really new ... they're just being "re-introduced" into the market - again.

Adams had them in their woods from 2000/2004(?) on and off from True Temper in their ST line .. they didn't know it at the time, but it was their first attempt to go hybrid .... and they are a pretty good shaft, and I still play one in the last of my woods (gone to hybrids) which is a Adams Bimatrix ST #7 22* ...

I agree with Erik .. shafts aren't really numbers and graphs, it's a personal feel ... this is a shaft you "really" need to "try before you buy" .. unless you have a 100mph+ swing speed you could be wasting your money - but what do I know ....

I've seen them already for sale at Diamond Tour Golf for $79 and if you wait til' the winter time, I have a feelin you'll be able to buy one for $45 or less ....... in my stupid opinion, I would go with the Aldila ..

I hope this helps:

Tsukihime, check the golfsmith website at: http://www.golfsmith.com/ps/products/6802w

The three reviews there were all 5 stars out of a possible 5. I played with a guy 2 weeks ago who had the Snake Eyes 600 Ti driver head on this shaft. I started talking to him about it and he let me hit it. Let's just say that I've been playing the same Callaway Great Big Bertha with the factory stiff shaft for the last 9 years....I've had no reason to switch until now. I hit that club set up so well that I went out and purchased the components and just put it together today. Waiting for the epoxy to cure before I hit it.

I have a quick swing and hit drives of 300+ multiple times during a round. With my Callaway shaft I find that if I swing to quick the shaft feels like a rubber band....not with the graffaloy bi matrix though. I'm able to swing harder and keep the ball straighter than I was before.

That's just my two cents....I liked it enough to go out and buy it.

Good luck.

So someone named "jbgolfsmith" says "go to golfsmith.com" with a strong product recommendation? Hmmm.

Golfsmith is truthfully the only place to order this shaft without any hassle. So, don't blame golfsmith guy for giving good references.

As for the shaft, I have the stiff one (pink of course)

I love the "WHOA's" and "ahhhh, you queer" from people I play with

Then I knock it past them all and they all shutup

I have the SnakeEyes TI460 10.5 degree head in it. Weighting is superb, launch angle is good, and I carry it just as far as my old G2 with ProLaunch Blue shaft, but with a straighter flight. The only thing is I have trouble shaping the ball with my 105-110 mph swing speed. When I shape I like to slow it down, and this shaft requires all of what I have to put into it. So, hope that helps...

    • It's really hard to argue against the Tiger Woods 2000 swing.  I like Rory's swing. And, I've always liked Joaquin Niemann's swing. Although, if I tried to mimic Niemann's swing I'd probably end up in traction for 2 months. I was kinda bummed when he went to LIV cuz I almost never see it anymore.  At the other extreme, I can't look at Bryson when he plays. Even if it's very effective, it's coyote-ugly to watch.  I'd rather watch Charles Barkley than Bryson. ....
    • Thank you for that information,I would have loved to see him in person
    • I think he was always kind of like that - he hit it off the planet relatively frequently throughout his career. I saw him play a couple of times. One time at Walton Heath in the European Open. He was playing the 13th on the Old (dogleg right par 5) and his drive had gone through the fairway and found a patch of grass in the woods there to the left (the woods have now gone). He had an opening to play back to the fairway. Maybe 25 yards to reach the fairway and 65 yards to run through the other side. He was maybe 230 yards away from the green, but the trees made sure that was not a viable option (at least that's what I thought at the time). He pulled out a pretty long iron - probably a 3 and gave it a full blooded thrash. I watched this ball come out straight for about 40 yards and then it just turned hard left, but stayed in the air (still not sure how he did that). He started the ball at a point that must have been 100 yards right of the green and hooked it basically that whole 100 yards and the ball wound up on the front of the green.  Shotmaking he was pretty much peerless. Not sure his swing was ever technically solid. Flowing and fun to watch yes, but not one you'd want to copy.  As to the question, I have heard a few people suggest that Mickey Wright had the best swing ever. Frank Nobilo had a pretty sweet looking one. Bruce Lietzke's was pretty cool - he managed to maintain PGA Tour playing rights with basically little to no work on his game - got to be a lot said for that.
    • A lot of us on this forum are hyper competitive, we just know not to break things that don't belong to us! that is why I stated "a person with a poor attitude grows up with no consequences" it is not all entitlement.
    • Yea, it is a cult following. Especially with the YouTube golf personalities using them. They did great marketing in a space that not many other golf clubs are getting into yet. Especially for putters.  I tried them out at Golf Galaxy before; I can't stand them look of them.
