When does your club typically hold its club championship? This year ours is July 18-19 which is much earlier then many others around. Last year our course superintendent set up our course using the US Open mindset which stressed accurate shot making and deft skill on the greens. The rough was averaging 5" and the greens were running 11'2" on the stimpmeter…which is extremely fast compared to our 9'8" average. It was a very humbling weekend for most (me included) but it was a fantastic test. I know it's a little over 8 weeks away but I am very excited! My short game / putting (which has always been my achilles heel) has really come around.

I think mine is torwards the end of september. Which seems a bit late. I always look forward to the club championship regardless of which club i am a member of.
