Yeah man. I know something that would work. I fly fish in Alaska a few times a year and needed something that packed light and worked. I got a rainsuit from Cabelas that works well, is lightweight, and packs very small. Look at Cabelas website and go to men's casual clothing, then rainsuits, etc... They have lots of rainsuits. I have the "Dry Plus" if I am not mistaken, but be sure to look for "packable" in the description.

Since you are in Florida, I would think the best way to go would be a short sleeve rain shirt/jacket such as those from Nike and Footjoy. They are much more comfortable in hot weather than long sleeve rain jackets. For pants, check out a pair of Footjoy's that have zip off legs (to turn them into shorts). They are what I wear during the summer rain and they are so much better than wearing full length pants, although these can also be used as rain pants. Another option is to look for some of the more breathable rain pants from Greg Norman and Adidas, among others. I think UnderArmor has a new rainsuit as well, although I do not know how breathable it is. The pants look OK, but the jacket doesn't look to me like it would breathe any better than any other company.

I love the Ping rain jacket and pants. (I think they call it all weather gear) It breaths well so it is not too hot for Tampa golfing and they are very affordable.

I'm a big fan of Zero Restriction clothing. They have Goretex pullovers, short sleeve pullovers, vests, jackets, and pants that convert to shorts. They are on the expensive side but they last forever.

Yeah, wanna make 14 dollars the hard way?
