it's got a nasty little rattle inside the head, and it's not the weights. Doh... snagged it off eBay, and got burned. Sucks to be me. Gonna take it down to the pro shop and have them pull the shaft and see what comes out.

Likely just some loose foam or something like that.

does it rattle up the shaft as well? my dads hibore xl had a piece of epoxy that came off and rattled aroudnt he head and up and down the shaft, if it does this, just cut a hole in the grip and it will slide right out.

If it hits fine, which im sure it will, its just cosmetic, have it removed and play it!

You could be fine but my friend was hitting an ft-5(he was taking divots and had thrown it MANY times so this could have something to do with this) and it started to rattle. He thoight nothing of this and hit it again and a crack formed. He hit it once more and the head split in two and flew down the range The look on his face was priceless LOL. That said you might want to get it checked out its probably nothing though.......

Worst-case scenario its the tip of the shaft...but I doubt a fujikura would break off.

In my stand bag:

UPDATE: the eBay seller said the previous owner had a custom shaft in it and the put the factory shaft back in it, said it was probably epoxy... the rattle is definately in the head, not inside the shaft.
