in an iron set are they on all of the clubs or only a couple of them?

Ping I3 + blade 3-pw
9.5 09 Burner with prolaunch red
Nickent 4dx driver
Taylormade Z tp 52, 56, 60

My i10's have them on every one of them.

My G5's have them on each iron, 5-P. Every set I've seen at the store has been the same.

Driver- titleist.gif 909D2 9.5* 
Fairway Wood- titleist.gif 909F2 15.5* w/ Diamana Blue stiff
Hybrid- titleist.gif 909H 19*

My g10's have the # on every shaft.

In the Ogio Kingpin bag:

Titleist 913 D2 9.5* w/ UST Mamiya ATTAS 3 80 w/ Harrison Shotmaker & Billy Bobs afternarket Hosel Adaptor (get this if you don't have it for your 913)
Wilson Staff Ci-11 4-GW (4I is out of the bag for a hybrid, PW and up were replaced by Edel Wedges)
TaylorMade RBZ 5 & 3 Fairway Woods

Cobra Baffler T-Rail 3 & 4 Hybrids

Edel Forged 48, 52, 56, 60, and 64* wedges (different wedges for different courses)

How far back did Ping use serial numbers? Would Zing and Zing2 also have matched numbers? I looked at a set of Zing2 recently that didn't have numbers, I don't think. I didn't look real close.

In my Craz-E-Lite bag:

Driver: R7 465 driver 10.5*
Fairway: R7 3W, 5W
Irons: Zing 2 3-9, PW, SWWedge: X-forged 56*Putter: Monza Corza Ball: Various

My set of Ping Eye2's from 1996 have each iron marked. I believe they have marked them since their inception. I've played with a former engineer from ping, I'll ask him the question next time I see him at the course.

What's in the Titleist  carry bag:
Driver: Titleist 910 D2,  Motore Speeder VC 6.0 shaft, 1" long, set to A1
Fairway Wood: Titleist 910 F, set to B4 Hybrid: Titleist 910 H, set to B4
Irons: Titleist AP2 710 4-9  Project X shafts  Wedges: Titleist Vokey SM4 46deg, C-C 50, 54, & 60deg.
Putter: Scotty Cameron NewPort 2.5 Glove: Titleist Ball: Titleist ProV1x  RangeFinder: Bushnell V2

A little bit of a net search leads to believe that they all have serial numbers, all the way back. I looked at the Zing2's again, and they are there, just very faint. I guess I expected it to stand out and didn't factor in the age wear.
