I bought the Big Bertha Fusion irons for $225. Its a 3-PW set. They have the uniflex shafts.

I went to the range and I was hitting them worse than my KZG Cavity Back irons. I figure its because of the shaft flex. I was pushing the ball a whole lot, hitting it fat, and slicing. The KZGs have Dynamic Gold S300 shafts in them and I typically hit them better than I hit the Fusions today.

Can I simply take the S300s out of my KZGs and put them in my Fusions? I really don't want to have to break down and spend another $150-$200 on shafts. That ruins the deal.

Have you checked the lie angle on the fusions? Sounds like they could be too flat.

Or you can take a both 9 irons and put them next to each other on a table or something with the heads hanging off of the edge and see if the toes are at different angles.

Also, what color are the top couple of grooves on the club face? I think 2 white lines are standard. Mine are 2 red lines which means 2* flat.
