My new Diablo has the DVS shaft and my g5 ping fairway woods and 3 hybrid have Adilla NV shafts.

Whats the consensus on these shafts? I'm a noob.

Great shafts if they fit your swing.

They are both mid kick, medium trajectory shafts but the NV is firmer in the tip section so less spin. They are both good quality shafts, the NV will probably result in a little lower launch due to the firm tip. I, personally like the VS Proto best of the Aldila shafts, but the NV is not far behind. Not a fan of the DVS because of spin.

most people either love or hate them (speaking about the NV). I was stuck between the NV and the proforce v2. But after getting fitted for a new shaft, the fitter recomended the NV because it would lower my launch angle and add extra distance. weight of the shaft is also important.

lowering the launch angle to obtain more distance is good in theory for me but my Ping G5 is a 8.5, which is too law for my sloppy hitting.

I do MUCH better with my 10 degree BB Diablo. Much straighter too...

Very good shafts. I sometimes wish i would have keep it in my 3wood instead of the Proforce V2 i have in it now.
