They seem to be really light and hot. I love the Speed I just bought, the ball seems to jump off the face.

The sound is definitely unique, very harsh but I like it.

I tried the 09 models at the demo days yesterday and wasn't too impressed. I was hoping I would be pleasantly surprised by Cobra, but unfortunately not. I also found their model naming confusing.

you didnt like the new S9 series?

Hot... The L4V X is still my favorite driver ever, loud, but soo hot. i always liked the system myself, the M is for moderate swing speed, the F is for fast swingers, and the X is for guys who work the ball or swing real fast.. then S/D dictates shallow or deep face..

I second the S9 Pro Series. I demoed it for two rounds at my local course and it's a great club. The price tag is just a little to rich for me especially with the shaft: Matrix. Runs nearly $700 and that's just way too steep.

I've played the older LD-F driver, 3w, 5w. Totally loved them. Crazy loud (which was kinda fun!), and really smacked the ball. If I had to buy another driver right now and had a lower budget, it would probably be one of those.

The best drivers on the market. Over the years I have gamed many drivers, but I seem to always come back to cobra drivers. I had the l4v for 8 months and loveddd that club. Now I have the X speed pro d and that club is just nasty.

i got an 08 f speed ld 3 wood in the mail about a week ago and absolutely love it. you're right though the sound it makes is very unique sound (much deeper than my driver). which is weird because titleist and cobra are made by the same company.

I tried the Pro S. The ball was coming off really hot but I just couldn't stand the harsh feel. If I had one, I would probably get used to that feel.

      Day 37: did my drill swings in the garage with foam balls for about 15 minutes. Working on getting my backswing more turned and then going from there.

      Thanks but honestly… I don't know any other way. I don't mind being wrong so long as I know where to go from there. I don't like being wrong — I'd love to get things right (which is different than "being right"). I recommend grabbing a furniture slider or a paper plate or something, and doing something like this: First, make a swing where you let your trail foot swing out as you turn, then twist that foot back in. From DL and FO, it'll look like this: Then, during a regular backswing, try to twist your foot in slightly (demonstrated in the left image): You'll notice a crease along the trail side of your hip, your pelvis will "fold" into that thigh (internal rotation of the hip joint), and your "bits" will be squished a little between your pelvis and your thigh. Ben Hogan said once: "At the top of the back swing the groin muscle on the inside of your rt [sic] leg near your right nut will tighten," Hogan wrote. "This subtle feeling of tightness there tells you that you have made the correct move back from the ball." I don't know about that, but you will probably feel something down around that area.
