Just curious...On Wed. we had a Cleveland golf demo day on our driving range. Since it was ladies day it was targeted at women. That's not important, but the question I have is how many of you (guy or gal) play a Cleveland driver? I have never given any thought towards Cleveland golf except for their wedges so I was pleasantly surprised when I played nine with a new driver and got 35 yards more off the tee. The club is also very forgiving, I wish I could tell you exactly what the name is but it has slipped my mind. Anyway, in the process of getting a new set I now have a new driver and a new 5 wood that came with the driver for free, they should be here next Friday and I can't wait.

Just curious to hear anyone else's experience or thoughts about Cleveland club technology. Good or bad.

I bought the Cleveland Hibore XLS last season and have been very pleased. Gained 15 yards and straighter off of the tee. Having hit many brands of clubs over the years, I've found Cleveland driver technology to be some of the best out there.

My entire bag except putter is Cleveland. I hit the driver (Hibore) enormously and feel they make the best drivers. The only comparable is Titleist.

my buddy uses a Cleveland Monster driver and that thing is awesome. VERY forgiving. even moreso than the FT-i and FT-iQ which i thought were THE most forgiving drivers out there

The new Cleveland drivers are sweet. Cleveland started out as being know just for their wedges, but they are quickly growing into being a complete golf company who can rival anyone in the industry.
Now that Cleveland is owned by Srixon (one of Japan's best golf companies), they are no doubt drawing club technology from Srixon (who in their own right makes some very, very nice golf clubs).

I used a Launcher until I found I needed a regular flex shaft instead of stiff, and got an R7 for $45 bucks. I still use, and love, my 5W Launcher, that club makes me smile on the fairways.

For Christmas, I bought my buddy a nice used set of Cleveland irons, and now he swears by Cleveland.

I had a Hi Bore Tour about a year ago and sold it to a friend, great club. I have always liked the look of a Hibore at address, just flat out looks mean, and also it looks like you will hit it off the tee with an ascending blow, due to the low and wide back end of the driver. Hard to go wrong with one.
