Kind of proud of myself today

Got to meet pops half way between our houses and play a course that neither of us had played. I've been really working hard on my game but for some reason I've got this pull duck hook that's been driving me crazy (especially with long irons but not driver for some reason). I battled it across the front nine and played ok, nothing terrible. Got to the back and decided I'd had enough after going double, triple on the opening par 5's on the back and was going to hit a cut and stop the over the top pull hook crap. Good news is I did it. Not the greatest round ever or anything but I stopped the pull hook and taking the OB out of the equation.

So today .. with a whopping 8 penatly strokes and 3-3 putts I fired a 92.

I also had the worst luck ever.. Lost 2 balls just a couple feet off the fairway.. couldn't find them in the rough

Considering the 3-Putts and what-not, that's a great round!

As a drill, maybe try rushing the end of the grip to the ball before the club head at impact.

That will delay your hands from flipping over and shutting the face. (also will add lag)

But, that may not help...
