Bought my dad irons for Fathers Day

Pops has been playing the same old Snake Eyes irons for the last 8-10 years. Lately he's been telling me he's been going and testing irons. For the past 3 weeks he's been coming back to the 09 TM Burner irons. Came down to Atlanta last week and tested them at the PGA Superstore along with 5 or 6 other sets and still walked away talking about the Burners. Well, I don't know what his plans were but he's going to have them sitting at the front door mid week. Got a good deal on brand new ones off ebay with the shaft he wants so I bought em. Fingers are crossed

      Posted a couple swings here. I think my attempt to blend the movement still results in a more “around” back swing?

      I never heard dislike for them.  From my perspective, they are just like any other club. Though, they were always probably over-priced, until recently as other club manufacturers have been raising prices the past 5+ years. You had to wait for them to go on sale, which you can get them closer to other club manufacturers.  They sell good clubs. Nothing crazy..

      Why do so many people dislike PXG clubs and constantly criticize them? All the folks at my club and especially online, I never hear good things about them except from people who bought them and defend them. They look fine to me but curious is there some sort of quality issue or is it just stereotyping the buyers.

      I have the LM1 launch monitor and I’ve been very impressed. I agree with your assessment and it’s very accurate for me and ease of use is wonderful. The price point of $199 is very hard to beat with this form factor and performance. I was previously using a PRGR.
