Badly bladed 60 wedge from 30 yards off the green on the first hole while playing with two strangers. I get nervous and just rush shots and do other wierd things when playing with strangers.

I was even par through the first two holes until I caught up with a foursome in front of me. They asked if I wanted to play through on a par-3. Chunked a three iron, chip comes up short and rolls down into bunker, get out nice, two-put from 10 ft. I finished 7 over for 9 (twilight golf).

I was on a long par 4 and absolutely nutted my drive right down the middle. There was a tree in the middle of the fairway though and my ball ended right in front of it. So I chip it sideways and the balls comes to rest in a huge divot. From there I hit a great shot right at the pin. It hits the flagstick then rolls back all the way back into a water hazard. I took a drop and pitched it and hit the flagstick again roflmao. Then I three putted because I was so pissed.

Crazy game.

Two holes, actually.

The first, I smashed a drive center cut and had a lob wedge into the green. Proceeded to chunk that three (!) times into a green side bunker, where I managed to get it out, from whence I three-putted. Nothing gets a round off right like a snowman .

The second, I smashed a drive center cut and hit a nice hybrid into a green side bunker (par 5). Proceeded to take two shots to hit my ball out of that bunker into another bunker, which also took two shots to get out of. And then I three putted to put the cherry on top of a quadruple bogey 9 .

Golf, what a wonderful sport .
